NEWPORT- Newport Rocks the Fort with John Cafferty and The Beaver Brown Band for the first time this Sunday in a concert at Fort Adams to benefit historic preservation and the Rhode Island Community Food Bank.
The event will kick off at 2 p.m. as concert goers will be greeted at the door by Chakulla and The Hunger Bus performing for non-perishable foods and cash donations to benefit the R.I. Community Food Bank. Chakulla travels around the country to raise money for community food banks, and he always ‘sings out for food’.
The $35 admission costs will benefit Fort Adams and once inside, guests will be entertained with performances by a new grass group Dynamite Shack, Eagles tribute band Another Tequila Sunrise, Corruption Choir from Boston, Steely Dan tribute band Hey Nineteen and headlining act John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band among others.
