KINGSTON — It has not been a pretty start to The University of Rhode Island’s baseball season. Time and time again, the Rams have fallen to opposing teams in messy games with lopsided scores. Rams coach Jim Foster has been adamant that the team doesn’t lack ability or heart, but rather experience and deep understanding of game theory. At the root, it would appear that the team’s youth is keeping Rhody low on the scoreboard, though not in spirits.
