SOUTH KINGSTOWN – Union Fire District crews extinguished a trailer fire early Friday morning on Matunuck Beach Road.
According to Deputy Chief Steven Pinch, crews from the Peace Dale, Wakefield, Forestry and Matunuck stations, along with South Kingstown Police and EMS, responded to the scene at 2:33 a.m. Friday.
Upon arrival, crews found the trailer fully engulfed, but were able to extinguish the blaze within two hours.
The State Fire Marshal, South Kingstown Police and Union Fire District are investigating the cause of the fire.
No injuries were reported.
