Over 400 runners show for Katie DeCubellis race

NARRAGANSETT - Walkers and runners of all ages joined together at the Katie DeCubellis Memorial Fund (KDMF) race on Sunday to help raise awareness about the dangers of drinking and distracted driving. The 5K race was in honor of Katie DeCubellis, who was killed by a drunk driver when she was 13 years old in October 1999.

NK Class of 2013 looks to future, grateful for opportunities given

NORTH KINGSTOWN—With excited minds and a single red rose in hand, students of the North Kingstown High School Class of 2013 processed into the Ryan Center in order to cap off their four years of hard work, a diploma waiting at the end. Family members crowded into their seats this past Friday evening as students fixed tassels and talked about what they’ll miss, where they’d be going to college.

Bronk presents need for town market analysis

NORTH KINGSTOWN - On Monday evening, Director of Economic Development Paige Bronk presented a proposal to the town council to conduct a market analysis of the the town. The study, which will cost approximately $75,000, will aim to assess the town’s current economic climate and what can be done in the future to expand business.
