Wild game sees Prout edge EWG

WAKEFIELD – The series of events that unfolded during the Prout-hosted Exeter-West Greenwich baseball game on Wednesday were nothing short of bizarre. Between the cold front that rolled in just in time for the opening pitch to the several interruptions and abrupt ending to the matchup, the Crusaders and Knights had their hands full at The Prout School that afternoon.

Prout had a one run lead in the fourth, but the 2-1 score would not stand for long. What was a fast game quickly turned into a drawn out second half.
