WOOD RIVER JUNCTION â€“ Voters in the three towns passed the $55.4 million Chariho school budget Tuesday.
The budget passed on the first try by a vote of 912 in favor 622 against.
â€śIâ€™m very, very pleased that the budget passed and truly appreciate the support of the community for the district,â€ť Superintendent Barry Ricci said Wednesday morning. â€śThe budget is a good budget and is responsive to the needs of our students and is very fair to the taxpayers.â€ť
