Town beach gets a facelift from new projects

June 11, 2014

NARRAGANSETT – The Recreation Advisory Board met on Monday evening to discuss projects and budgetary updates regarding Narragansett Town Beach.

Recreation Advisory Board Chair Keith Kyle detailed the completion of several beach-related projects, including adding new waste receptacles to improve the overall look and feel of the property. The new barrels will replace the old, 55-gallon barrels which are now becoming rusted and unsightly. Upon hearing the news, new member of the board Pat Brady expressed his appreciation for Kyle making this initiative.

“I cannot commend you enough for that. They looked ugly for ten years. Now they look neat and clean,” Brady said.
