WOOD RIVER JUNCTION â€“ Three 14-year-old Chariho students were recently arrested after allegedly possessing and distributing â€śmarijuana candyâ€ť on school grounds, according to Richmond Police Chief Elwood Johnson and Superintendent of Chariho Schools Barry Ricci.
Police said on March 27, a 14-year-old Chariho Middle School student was arrested and charged with one count of distributing a controlled substance in or near a school and one count of possession of a controlled substance, following an investigation into an incident where a teenaged middle school student required medical attention.
