NARRAGANSETT – The South County Museum is opening for the season tomorrow, Saturday, May 3.

Museum Director Jim Crothers said this year the museum will have a new exhibit, as well as additions to existing exhibits and several special events for patrons to enjoy.

New this year is a collection of Kodak cameras donated by the family of Wakefield resident Charles H. Whaley Jr. Crothers said Whaley was an educational developer for Eastman Kodak in Rochester, N.Y., and the collection includes more than 200 cameras by Eastman Kodak from the first Pocket Kodak introduced in 1895 through 1960s-era Instamatics.
