Sosnowski introduces bill to expand farmers markets inventory

SOUTH KINGSTOWN – Sen. Susan Sosnowski (D-Dist. 37 South Kingstown, New Shoreham), owner and operator of Sosnowski Farms in West Kingston and chairwoman of the Senate Committee on Environment and Agriculture, recently introduced a bill that would expand the inventory at farmers markets to include beer and wine produced by farmer-wineries and farmer-breweries.

Similar laws already exist in Massachusetts and New York.
