SK resident files complaint against O’Neill

South Kingstown resident Rachel Clough has filed a formal complaint against town councilor James O’Neill, above. Clough claims O’Neill made threatening comments toward her during Monday’s town council meeting.

SOUTH KINGSTOWN – Town councilor James O’Neill had a formal complaint filed against him on Wednesday by town resident Rachel Clough regarding allegations that he made threatening statements toward her at the town council meeting on Monday night.

After a heated discussion spearheaded by Clough on the decision by the town council to authorize a road race on Memorial Day, O’Neill was heard telling councilor Meg Healy that Clough is “lucky he didn’t hit her.”
