SCH annual meeting talks include potential Southcoast Health System affiliation

SOUTH KINGSTOWN – The annual meeting of the South County Hospital brought board members, staff and members of the public to discussion the past, present and future of the hospital, ending with a briefing on the work being done by administrators on an affiliation with the non-profit Southcoast Health System.

“Most of you know that our healthcare system has been involved in exploration of options for partnering with other health care systems. We do anticipate that we will reach an agreement with them,” said Eve Keenan, RN, Ed.D., chairperson of the hospital’s board trustees.
