The Notables will bring their unique and local sound to the RI Philharmonic Orchestra concert.

NARRAGANSETT—The 35th Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra is coming to the wave-struck shore of Narragansett Town Beach. Tonight at 8 p.m., residents will be able to enjoy the sounds of violins, cellos, and other instruments carrying through the evening air.

The event is sponsored by Citizen’s Bank and admission is free, although the town asks that attendees give donations if at all possible. Those who come to see the event are also asked to arrive early as space on the beach is limited.

The orchestra, however, can be heard throughout the Pier and the music offers a unique experience if many wish to simply walk along the seawall or relax in the park next to the post office.

The concert will last approximately one hour and 50 minutes with an intermission. Local singing group The Notables, presented by the Narragansett Senior Association, will also perform at the event. Bring a chair, your mind and open ears to the Narragansett Pier this Friday evening to enjoy the classical sounds of the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra.
