Police to investigate home invasion

EAST GREENWICH — The East Greenwich Police Department is currently investigating a home invasion that took place on Frenchtown Road late Monday afternoon.

According to Police Chief Thomas Coyle via telephone on Tuesday, there was a male party that went to the front door at the residence on Frenchtown Road, talking on a cell phone. The girl that was inside the home at the time saw the man and did not answer the door.
