NKHS recognized by U.S. News and Report as ‘Silver Medal’ school

North Kingstown Superintendent of Schools Philip Auger said on Wednesday he supports all-day kindergarten being offered by the district, but that much more work needs to be done on whether it can be feasibly supported.

NORTH KINGSTOWN—According to U.S. News and World Report, North Kingstown High School is the third-best high school for students in Rhode Island, and the publication has selected the institution as a Silver Medal School, one of only five in the state. Superintendent of Schools Philip Auger congratulated faculty, staff students and their families for the hard work they have put in over the year to foster a successful learning environment at the school.
