NK Town Council debates capital concerns

The North Kingstown Town Council and School Committee are coming to a clearer understanding of the HVAC issues that have plagued the high school for many years, with cost estimates on repairs to be presented by the end of May.

NORTH KINGSTOWN—At Monday evening’s regular meeting, the North Kingstown Town Council discussed a number of issues regarding the upcoming adoption of the FY 2014-15 town budget, most pressing of which is the school department’s plans to replace the HVAC system at North Kingstown High School, which was installed improperly when the new school building was constructed in 2000.
