NEASC extends high school accreditation

NORTH KINGSTOWN—Tempers flared among school committee and administration members on Tuesday evening during discussions of a jam-packed agenda. North Kingstown High School Principal Tom Kenworthy, however, first presented the school committee with the New England Association of Schools and College’s (NEASC’s) report and awarding of ‘continued accreditation’ to the school based on its research and subsequent visit last fall.
