Narragansett girls soccer will learn from draw

The Narragansett girls soccer team played to a draw Tuesday against Cranston East.

CRANSTON — It was only a matter of time before the Narragansett girls soccer team finished one of its numerous goal-scoring chances Tuesday afternoon.
Time and Cranston East goalie Jesse Handler, however, won out.
After giving away a soft goal early in the first half, the Mariners tied the Thunderbolts on a beautiful goal by Jacyln Iannucci, The final 57 minutes of the top-of-the-table III-Central clash were spent in Cranston East’s end of the field, but the Mariners simply couldn’t solve Handler in a 1-1 draw.
