Man in critical condition after accident

WEST WARWICK—A local resident is currently in critical condition at Rhode Island Hospital after crashing his motorcycle Monday evening.

Capt. Eric Norberg of the West Warwick Fire Department explained that Engine 2 and Rescue 2 were dispatched around 6:28 p.m. for reports of a motorcycle accident at 1021 Main St.; adjacent to Clyde Towers.

When they arrived, the operator of the motorcycle, whose name is currently being withheld pending family notification, was on the ground.

He said his motorcycle was 200 feet up the road.
