Iggy’s looking to expand in Narragansett

May 1, 2014

NARRAGANSETT – Iggy’s Doughboys and Chowder House is looking to build a larger restaurant in Narragansett.

The planning board held a site review last week and approved the plans for the currently seasonal clam shack to move from 1157 Point Judith Road to a new location to be constructed at 1143 Point Judith Road.

By a vote of 3-0, planning board members Dr. Joseph O’Neill and John Hodnett were absent, the planning board recommended approval of the plan for a new and much larger Iggy’s to the zoning board. Community Development Director Michael DeLuca said the zoning board will hold a public hearing on the application later this month.
