EWG seniors celebrate at Ryan Center this past Saturday

June 19, 2014

EXETER—Four years at Exeter-West Greenwich Senior High School have come to a close as the Class of 2014 walked to gain their diplomas at the Ryan Center this past Saturday. The event was full of tears and excitement from parents, friends and siblings, all who have seen the graduates grow through the challenges which they faced.
Before handing out diplomas and enjoying the festivities of the day, Superintendent of Schools James Erinakes began by reflecting on the challenges which the modern-day student faces.
“In 2014, many of our graduates have already experienced five versions of the iPhone, each more advanced than the other,” said Erinakes. “Any bit of information is available on the web in seconds, [and] some have never used the encyclopedia.”
