An ever-changing facade

May 1, 2014

The Dennis Moffit Painting building located on Kingstown Road in Peace Dale has featured more than 40 large-scale murals over the last six years.

SOUTH KINGSTOWN - A six-year tradition in Peace Dale has brought more than 40 large-scale murals to the side of the Dennis Moffit Painting building across from the Peace Dale Mill Complex.

Most of the murals, painted by local and “guest” artists, have signified the coming or going of important events or seasons in the town.

The most recent depicts a spring scene with the winter being symbolically rolled away in the form of a snowball.
