November 22, 2013

Two new defendants have been added to the filed lawsuit from 2011 put forth by six homeowners, who reside in three separate properties on Sarah’s Trace, alleging that their abutting homes were damaged from the construction methods used to build the new Cole Middle School.
John Gowell, a resident who is a former chairman of the East Greenwich Building Committee, and Symmes, Maini & McKee Associates (SMMA), Inc., a Cambridge, Mass.-based architectural and engineering firm that has an office in Providence, are the latest to be accused of negligence, ‘stigma’/diminution in market value damages and tortious interference with use and enjoyment of property by Christopher and Susan Lamendola, of 50 Sarah’s Trace, Keith and Wendy Amelotte, of 35 Sarah’s Trace, and Thomas Hogan and Cynthia Peloso, of 40 Sarah’s Trace, in the ongoing suit.
