Two new defendants have been added to the filed lawsuit from 2011 put forth by six homeowners, who reside in three separate properties on Sarahâ€™s Trace, alleging that their abutting homes were damaged from the construction methods used to build the new Cole Middle School.
John Gowell, a resident who is a former chairman of the East Greenwich Building Committee, and Symmes, Maini & McKee Associates (SMMA), Inc., a Cambridge, Mass.-based architectural and engineering firm that has an office in Providence, are the latest to be accused of negligence, â€˜stigmaâ€™/diminution in market value damages and tortious interference with use and enjoyment of property by Christopher and Susan Lamendola, of 50 Sarahâ€™s Trace, Keith and Wendy Amelotte, of 35 Sarahâ€™s Trace, and Thomas Hogan and Cynthia Peloso, of 40 Sarahâ€™s Trace, in the ongoing suit.
