Coventry detectives bring in five locals on drug charges

COVENTRY — Five suspects from both West Warwick and Coventry have been arrested following a four month drug investigation.

According to Coventry Police, members of the Coventry Police Department Detective Division went undercover, posing as drug users and buyers to gain the trust of several local drug dealers.

The five suspects allegedly provided detectives with numerous prescription drugs.

According to police, warrants were obtained and with the assistance of the West Warwick Detectives, West Warwick Police Department and Coventry Police Department arrests were made on July 18.

On July 19, Helen Manish, 55, of 34 West Shore Drive, Coventry, Donielle Reynolds, 40, of 98 Roberts St., West Warwick, Erik Reynolds, 42, of 98 Roberts St., West Warwick, Larry Potter, 58, of 313 Lacolle Lane Coventry and Lynn Bennett, 48, of 313 Lacolle Lane Coventry were arraigned in Kent County District Court.

All five suspects were charged with possession with intent to deliver and conspiracy.

Manish, Donielle Reynolds and Erik Reynolds were held without bail.
Potter was held on $10,000 bail with surety and Bennett’s case was transferred to Superior Court for determination of bail.
