Community concerned about wireless technology in schools

Community members who gathered at the North Kingstown Community Center criticized the town’s school committee for not listening to their concerns regarding the health risks of wireless technology in schools. NORTH KINGSTOWN—As districts throughout the state install wireless internet in their schools, a growing number of residents in North Kingstown and other communities are asking questions about the health concerns regarding the technology. Last Thursday evening, a group of approximately 35 people gathered at the North Kingstown Community Center to hear Camilla Rees, an author of a number of books on electromagnetic health and the dangers of wireless technologies, such as wireless and cell phone use, to which we are exposed daily.
