Committee praises student achievement in NECAP testing

NORTH KINGSTOWN—At Tuesday evening’s work session, the North Kingstown School Committee was presented with the latest results in the New England Common Assessment Program (NECAP) testing, demonstrating that North Kingstown students have been among the highest achievers in the state. Dr. Michele Humbyrd, assistant superintendent of teaching and learning, outlined significant student achievement increases in the reading, writing and math portions of the test.
