Chariho Task Force to host forum on better health

The Chariho Task Force on Substance Abuse Prevention will host a Better Health Forum on Monday, April 14 at 5:15 p.m. at Chariho High School.

WOOD RIVER JUNCTION – The Chariho Task Force on Substance Abuse Prevention is hosting the Chariho Better Health Forum 2014 on Monday, April 14 at 5:15 p.m.

The forum is slated to include discussions on e-cigarettes and marijuana, a presentation from special guest speaker Matt Bellace, and a surprise honoring of a local hero.

At Tuesday’s Chariho School Committee meeting, members of the task force were present along with Richmond Police Chief Elwood Johnson to discuss substance abuse prevention in the towns and the school district.
