Chariho Junior State All-Stars eliminated

July 31, 2014

CUMBERLAND-Going into the weekend championship series against Barrington in the Jr. League All-Star State Championship Tournament, Chariho had an undefeated record of 6-0 through the district and state tournaments. With just one more victory, Chariho would win the entire state championship, and would mark one of the most incredible playoff runs in the junior league.
However, there was just one team standing in their way of this incredible accomplishment, and it was Barrington’s junior league team.
Despite rolling on all cylinders heading into the game, Chariho lost two consecutive games against Barrington this past weekend, losing the championship in the double elimination tournament.
