Boss Arena gets Olympic boost

KINGSTON—It happens every four years. The Winter Olympic Games open and countless children around the globe imagine themselves winning gold in figure skating or ice hockey. Skating rinks are bustling to accommodate these Olympic hopefuls, newfound sports enthusiasts and girls and boys who are suddenly inspired to skate. And at the University of Rhode Island’s Boss Ice Arena in Kingston, ‘skating fever’ is in full swing.
