Bad weather won't bug town

COVENTRY— Hurricane season is here and as a result, National Grid in collaboration with Earth Works, a timely weather provider, is installing WeatherBug monitoring systems to enhance emergency planning and response efforts throughout Rhode Island.

There are currently two fully operating WeatherBug stations in the state — in Coventry and Exeter — while Hopkinton has agreed to install the system and is in the works of doing so. There are seven other weather stations planning to be installed but those are also still in the works.
