A missed opportunity in Charlestown

We reported last week that the Charlestown Town Council approved an amended version of the zoning ordinance that defines wind generator towers and systems. And we were glad to see that the council was able to move relatively quickly in getting this approved.

CHARLESTOWN – The latest news-centric blog, Progressive Charlestown, to cover the town came to be when its owners were looking to stimulate political discussion amongst residents.

But Will Collette and Tom Ferrio sat on the idea until earlier this year as they wanted to make it an independent blog not tied to the Charlestown Democratic Town Committee. The decision to remove that link to the political committee came this past January, prior to the official launch of the website.
